Each course purchase or membership grants a limited, non-transferable license for access by a single registered user only. This restriction applies regardless of whether the additional individual accesses only recorded content, live sessions, downloadable materials, or any other resources provided through the platform.

But, if instructor use HEVC compression, it's the instructor's responsibility to pay the royalties to the MPEG-LA, the owner of HEVC patents as appropriate.
